Fantastic Value,,,,</B></div> <bR> <bR> <div> Please use the<A HREF="id141_m.htm#teams_" TARGET="TRLX_Middle" TITLE=" Spring League Rules 2010"><U> list </U></A>to obtain contact numbers to arrange the playing of your rounds.</div> <bR> <div> Team Captains please check regularly to ensure your team members are completing their rounds.</div> </td> <td valign="top" height=398 BGCOLOR="#FFFBF0" TEXT="#080000"> <div> <I> Spring League Rules 2010</I></div> <div>  <A NAME="rules"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A>Rules</div> <bR> <div> The competition will be played over 10/11 holes, will be stableford</div> <div> and full handicaps will apply. </div> <bR> <bR> <div> The competition will commence on the </div> <bR> <div> 20th February and continue for 5 rounds with the </div> <bR> <div> the Semi Finals on 27th March and the </div> <bR> <div> Final on the 3rd April (all dates subject to the weather). </div> <bR> <div> The entrance fee to the competition will be e30 </div> <div> Vouchers may not be used</div> <bR> <div> Entrance fees must be paid <B>before playing your first round </B></div> <div> if not points will not be awarded. </div> <bR> <div> Your Name must be entered into the competition book <B>prior to playing each</B></div> <div> <B> round.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Completed cards, </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Which must contain the following 7 items of information</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Name  </B></div> <div> <B>Handicap</B></div> <div> <B>Date Round Played</B></div> <div> <B>Round or Week number </B></div> <div> <B>Player  Signature</B></div> <div> <B>Markers Signature</B></div> <div> <B>Team number</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>and must be posted in the competition box in the clubhouse after finish of play. </B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Only cards properly completed will be processed.</B></div> <bR> <div> Games must be played within 8 days i.e Saturday to the following </div> <div> Saturday, there will be<B> no extensions granted,</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>The only exception</B> to the above, will be in <B>Week One</B> where the</div> <div> round <B>commences on sunday</B> and <B>Week five </B>of the league when all matches </div> <div> <B>must be  completed by Sunday the 20th March,</B></div> <bR> <div> This is to allow teams that qualify for the semi finals to be notified</div> <bR> <div> It is expected that you shall play with your opposite on an other team,</div> <div> however if the opponent is not available you may play with another team </div> <div> member or any available member.</div> <bR> <div> Scoring will be determined by the best 4 out 5  of cards, the 5th score will</div> <div> also be recorded as this score will be used in the event of a tie to</div> <div> determine  Semi final places. In other words the teams lowest</div> <div> score on each of the 5 rounds will be added together to give a total the</div> <div> highest of which will determine the place.</div> <bR> <div> Any player may play a round <B>earlier</B> than it is due to be played but you</div> <div> must follow the procedure above making sure to put down the correct</div> <div> week number on the card and sign the appropriate page in the </div> <div> competition book.  It is possible therefore to play 22 holes on one day for</div> <div> two weeks scores.</div> <bR> <div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><B>As an incentive to ensure all members of a team play, </B></FONT><B>1 </B><B>point</B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" ><B> will</B></FONT></div> <div> <B>be added to the weekly team score for each game completed by</B></div> <div> <B>each member of the team. </B></div> <bR> <div> So it is up to team Captain's to ensure a full turnout, </div> <div> as these points have proved crucial at the end of the stableford period.</div> <bR> <div> Team Captain's will have been selected on the basis of the lowest </div> <div> handicaps.</div> <bR> <div> In the case of a weekend being rained off or the course being closed, the</div> <div> entire scores for that particular week will be will be cancelled.</div> <bR> <div> The four top teams at the end of the stableford phase will qualify for the</div> <div>  match play element of the competition.</div> <bR> <div> <B><U>Match Play</U></B></div> <bR> <div> The match play will be played as a singles.</div> <bR> <div> Each team Captain will place, in the green fee box 20 minutes before the due first tee off time</div> <div> his team list in order of play, The starter on the day will then call the order of play</div> <div> with player 1 of team A playing player 1 of team B. Player 2 playing player 2 etc.</div> <bR> <div> 1 point will be awarded to the winning player and .5 of a point in the event of a match halved</div> <div> after 18 holes</div> <div> .</div> <div> Should the result of the overall match be tied, <B>the last match on the course shall play</B></div> <div> <B>sudden death immaterial of the result of that match.</B></div> <bR> <div> The playoff holes shall start on the 1st and continue until the match is decided.</div> <bR> <div> Local rules apply so make sure and check the board.</div> <bR> <div> Any disputes should be made immediately after the round or as soon as</div> <div> is possible to the competitions committee in writing</div> <bR> <div> Results will be posted on the club website and on the notice board as</div> <div> they
