Ballinlough Castle Golf Club was founded in 1998 and
We are also affiliated to the Irish Ladies Golfing Union.
Ballinlough was formed to be a members controlled
equal status club, with the sole intention of getting
the best course we could, out of the land at our disposal.
When complete the course will become yet
another masterpiece in the Pat Ruddy collection and to whom the club is indebted for his help and encouragement.
|
|
(ranked at number 5 in Ireland and 43 in the world),
And the magnificent Druids Glen, ( voted the number 1 visitor course in Europe), has described the site as being "Amazingly beautiful" he goes on to say,
|
 |
 |
" The site is that good that there are at least eight natural holes, just waiting to be played.
These holes will entail minimal construction work.
We are building a course here in Ballinlough, to the best modern specifications
which will be comparable to any parkland stretch in the country, and will , be ultimately suitable for Tournament Play, should that become a requirement".
