The Course consists of 8 sand based greens and 10 traditional turf based greens which are playable all year round on a magnificent piece of land consisting of 180 acres. Designed by Pat Ruddy whose simple brief was to give us the best course He could out of the land available. "Ballinlough has massive potential, to become one of the finest courses in the country in time to come......" Pat Ruddy
		We intend to do further work to improve and enhance the traditional 10 holes, by way of fairway bunkering and the building of tee boxes as new members join. Eventually leading to the building of Sand Based Greens.
